The Chicago Bears will travel to take on the Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium in NFL Week 17 action. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

2016 has not been a kind year to the Chicago Bears. Perhaps 2017 will be better. The Bears kick off the new year with a Week 17 date on the road against the Minnesota Vikings. These are two teams with an eye on next year, but there is still plenty of reason to tune in to this one.

These NFC North division rivals met earlier this season at Soldier Field, when the Bears took down the Vikings 20-10. That October 31st loss put the Vikings at 5-2 on the season, after starting the year 5-0. The last time these teams met, the Vikings had legitimate Super Bowl aspirations. Now, at 7-8, they have been eliminated from playoff contention.

At 3-12, have had an even tougher season. That being said, they were not expected to be competitive, and there have been some bright spots on the young team in recent weeks.

This game should be interesting, as both teams would undoubtedly love to close their season on a high note with a win over a division rival. That being said, in the grand scheme of things, this game does not mean much.

For Bears’ fans, the most important part here is seeing how the young guys play. Does Jordan Howard continue to be a big-time play-maker from the quarterback position? Can Matt Barkley squeeze himself back into the quarterback conversation for 2017? Will the defensive front seven continue to show promise against a Vikings’ offensive line that struggles to open holes in the run game and protect the quarterback?

These are all interesting questions and things to watch when the Bears take on the Vikings on Sunday.

This matchup will between NFC North rivals will be televised live on CBS, but there is a strong streaming option online as well. If you want to watch this game on an online stream, you must have a paid DirecTV NFL Sunday Ticket or NFL Sunday Ticket.TV subscription. On paper, there may not be much to play for in this one. However, ending the season strong in a rivalry game should be important to both the Bears and Vikings. This one will likely be worth checking out.
