For the rehearsal to the NFL regular season, the Chicago Bears will be playing the Seattle Seahawks on Friday night in Seattle.
The Seahawks are 1-1 during the pre-season while the Bears enter the game undefeated with a record of 2-0.
In the Seahawks previous game, Seattle defeated the San Diego Chargers 41-14. In that game, Seahawks’ quarterback Russell Wilson went 11 of 13 passing for a total of 121 passing yards. Wilson also rushed for 31 yards on 4 rushing attempts.
Seahawks’ running back Marshawn Lynch has yet to play in the Seahawks’ first two pre-season game, though, Lynch is expected to play on Friday night against the Bears.
Meanwhile, the Bears are coming off a comeback victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars last Thursday. The Bears defeated the Jaguars 20-19. In that game, Bears’ quarterback Jay Cutler was 7 of 9 passing for a total of 75 passing yards and 1 touchdown.
Veteran wide receiver Santonio Holmes signed with the Bears last weekend and is expected to play on Friday for the Bears. Holmes is expected to compete to be the Bears’ slot receiver this season.
