Nikola Mirotic Not At Chicago White Sox Game

Last week, Da Windy City followed a lead that suggested that Nikola Mirotic was at the Chicago White Sox game with Jerry Reinsdorf.

As it turns out, Mirotic was not at the White Sox game with Reinsdorf. The Chicago Tribune reports that the person in attendance with Reinsdorf at the White Sox game last week was former Bull Dalibor Bagaric.

Obviously, had Mirotic been at the White Sox game last week with Reinsdorf then that would have been an indicator of the Bulls’ off-season plans. Mirotic being in Chicago would have been an indicator that negotiations over his buyout with Real Madrid were progressing and that 2011 first round draft selection would start his career in the NBA next season.

The Bulls have started negotiations about a potential buyout but their is no indication of whether or not the team plans on bringing Mirotic over for the 2014-2015 season.

Mirotic could be the fall-back plan this off-season if the Bulls fail to land the likes of LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, or Kevin Love this summer.
