Lamarr Houston Will Fit Right In With Bears Fans

The Chicago Bears made quite a splash this off-season. They signed 34 players since the end of last season (16 of them their own). The first big name they signed was defensive end Lamarr Houston.

Houston spent his first four seasons in the NFL playing for the Oakland Raiders. He is athletic and versatile. He can play in either a 4-3 or 3-4 scheme, and he can also play defensive tackle. With the Bears using a hybrid type defense, Houston will fit in well.

Houston will also fit in with Bears fans. After enjoying social media posts from players such as Martellus Bennett, Kyle Long and Brandon Marshall, fans can now enjoy Houston’s postings.

Houston has been posting Bears pictures since his arrival, but one picture attracted the most attention. The picture had Houston practically sitting on Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers with the tag “They can feel my vision already.” It had 635 likes in three days.

It seems Houston is getting hyped for the Bears-Packers rivalry. The picture made Bears fans go crazy and possibly created bulletin board material before the season even begins.

We can only hope that Houston’s vision can become reality. The excitement of winning certainly has him hyped after experiencing a lot of losses in his years at Oakland.

As I said, Houston posted a few pictures that elicited excitement. You can see them here, here, and here,
