Super Bowl 2015: Chicago Bears Open At 25/1 Odds To Win The Big Game

The Seattle Seahawks may have just won Super Bowl 48 last night, but the focus is already on Super Bowl 49.

Bovada has already posted odds on what NFL team will win Super Bowl 49. No surprise, the Seahawks open as the favorite to win next year’s Super Bowl with 9/2 odds.

As for the Chicago Bears, the Bears open with 25/1 odds of winning Super Bowl 49.

The Bears fell short of the playoffs this past year after losing in their final regular season game to the Green Bay Packers. Though, if the playoffs have proved anything, it is that the Bears still have a lot of work to do before they can be considered one of the top teams in the NFL. Work that mostly includes improving a defense that was among the league-worst last season.

Bears general manager Phil Emery has succeeded in renovating the team’s offense in his first two seasons at the helm and now plans to put his touch on the defensive side of the ball. If Emery succeeds like he did with the offense, then the Bears may just be contenders to win the Super Bowl next season.

Here are the Super Bowl odds for the entire NFC North division:

  1. Green Bay Packers (16/1)
  2. Chicago Bears (25/1)
  3. Detroit Lions (33/1)
  4. Minnesota Vikings (75/1)

Here’s a breakdown of Super Bowls by mascot.  I assume Vegas took this into consideration…
