Chicago Bears' Henry Melton Arrested

The Associated Press reported that Henry Melton, the Chicago Bears’ defensive tackle, was arrested in Texas early Sunday morning. Melton, who has been out most of the season while recovering from a torn ACL, was charged with assault and public intoxication. Melton allegedly became belligerent at Chill Sports Bar, punched and bit the restaurant’s manager. Melton was playing on a one-year, $8.5 million franchise contract, could become an unrestricted free agent. With the probability of some good, healthy defensive tackles pretty high, the Bears should scrap whatever plans they had for Melton. With the health concerns and now this arrest, would it be a good move for the Bears to re-sign Melton, or should they just cut their ties with him?
