After a 1-2 start to the season, the Green Bay Packers have rallied to win four straight games.
The Packers are clicking at the right time as the NFL heads into the second-half of the season. The Packers and Chicago Bears play in an important game on Monday Night Football in week 9. The Packers will look to bury a Bears team that will be without linebacker Lance Briggs and presumably quarterback Jay Cutler.
Meanwhile, the Detroit Lions are only one loss behind the Packers for the top spot in the division. It may not always be pretty but the Lions are simply finding ways to win games this season. The Lions, who play the Bears in week 10, likely are hoping that the Bears knock off the Packers on Monday. The Lions already hold the tie-breaker over the Bears and a Packers loss on Monday would aid the Lions ascension to the top spot in the division.
Then there are the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings…well the Vikings will certainly have another off-season where fans can hype up the team’s draft picks.
It shouldn’t surprise anyone that the Vikings remain in the cellar for the NFC North Power Rankings. Rankings that continue to be headed by the Green Bay Packers.
