The Hawks currently sit in second place, three points behind division leading Colorado while the Senators are in sixth place of the Atlantic division following back-to-back home losses at the Canadian Tire Centre.
Season Series: This is the first of two meetings between the teams; with the second meeting on March 28 at the Canadian Tire Centre. In the teams last meeting on March 2, 2012 the Hawks beat the Senators 2-1 at the United Center.
