The Chicago Blackhawks look to complete a sweep their brief Sunshine State road trip against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday night in the final meeting between the two teams in 2013-14.
The Hawks will look for their third straight win against a Lightning team that has scored 19 goals this season. In the Hawks’ last game they saw a two-goal lead in the third period disappear, which also happened when the Lightning came to down earlier this month.
The Blackhawks currently sit in second place, two points behind division leading Colorado while the Lightning are in fourth place in the Atlantic division following a 5-0 loss to the Boston Bruins on Saturday night at Tampa Bay Times Forum.
Season Series: This is the second and final meeting between the teams; with the first meeting ending in a Hawks’ 3-2 shootout win on Oct. 5 at United Center.
Injury Report: Blackhawks defenseman Michal Rozsival is questionable for Thursday night after missing the last three games with an illness and defenseman Michael Kostka (lower body) is expected to miss 4-6 weeks. Lightning defenseman Brian Lee (knee) is questionable.
