NFC North Battleground: Week 2 Results and Standings

It was an up and down weekend for the NFC North as both the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears were victorious in their respective games on Sunday but the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings both lost.

Below is the recap of the NFC North games that took place on Sunday including NFC North standings after week 2.

Week 2 Results 

  • Green Bay Packers 38, Washington Redskins 20-Packers’ quarterback Aaron Rodgers has a record day against the Redskins throwing for 480 yards and 4 touchdown passes in the Packers’ decisive victory.
  • Chicago Bears 31, Minnesota Vikings 30- The Bears manage to stay undefeated after a second straight comeback victory; meanwhile, the Vikings continue to fall after now losing their first two games of the season.
  • Arizona Cardinals 25, Detroit Lions 21-After an impressive victory against the Vikings, the Lions let their late fourth quarter lead slip away on a late touchdown by Cardinals running back Rashard Mendenhall.
