For the Chicago Bears, injuries have not been an early concern for the team.
After having no one listed on the injury report entering their game against the Cincinnati Bengals last week, the Bears have only two players on the injury report for their game against the Minnesota Vikings.
Those two players are Julius Peppers and Charles Tillman. Tillman has been dealing with a knee injury, though the cornerback was a full participant in practice Friday and is listed as probable for the game. Meanwhile, Peppers has been dealing with an illness and after not practicing on Thursday, the veteran defensive end was limited in practice on Friday. That being said, Peppers is expected to play today against the Vikings.
For the Vikings, the team has a slew of players on their injury report though no injury appears to be serious. Linebacker Dean Larry (shoulder); linebacker Erin Henderson (heel); offensive tackle Phil Loadholt (knee); safety Mistral Raymond (shoulder); and cornerback Josh Robinson (quadriceps) were all listed as full participants in practice on Friday for the Vikings.
No injury status was given for Vikings’ safety Jamarca Sanford who is dealing with a shoulder injury earlier in the week.
Vikings’ center John Sullivan and defensive tackle Kevin Williams are both dealing with a knee injury; Sullivan was limited in practice on Friday and Williams did not practice. That being said, both are expected to play.
