Throwback Thursday: Historical Record Between Chicago Bears and Cincinnati Bengals

Whenever the Cincinnati Bengals are the opponent for the Chicago Bears, I think back to when former Bengals’ wide receiver Chad Johnson told the Bears prior to their 2009 game that he was going to run up and down the field against their defense and backed up his declaration when the two teams played the game.

Given the fact that the Bears and Bengals are not in the same conference, the two teams are not familiar with one another.

The Bears have played the Bengals 9 times in their franchise history. Of their 9 games, the Bears have won only three of them. The Bears have lost their past two games against the Bengals; the Bears lost in Cincinnati 45-10 in 2009, and then at home in 2005 the Bears lost 24-7.

The Bears will look to break their losing streak against the Bengals on Sunday.
