On Sunday, the Chicago Bears added 7 players to their practice squad.
QB Jerrod Johnson
WR Ricardo Lockette
TE Fendi Onobun
RB Harvey Unga
DE Aston Whiteside
LB Jerry Franklin
CB Demontre Hurst
The Bears have one more open spot on their practice squad roster.
Hurst was one player that impressed the Bears coaching staff during the pre-season. There was the expectation that the Bears would lose Hurst to another team, fortunately for the Bears, that was not the case.
Johnson, the former quarterback of Texas A&M, signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 2011. Johnson was most recently with the Seattle Seahawks earlier this off-season.
