*Hardin suffered an injury in the Bears game against the Cleveland Browns on Thursday. If passed through waivers, Hardin will be placed on the Bears inured reserve list.
Offensive Tackle Cory Brandon was also injured against the Browns on Thursday. Brandon is not listed on the list above, but the Bears will likely work -out an injury settlement with the offensive lineman.
Meaning, three more players have to be cut for the Bears to finalize their 53-man roster.
The fact that the Bears did not announce all of their cuts on Friday may indicate that the team is waiting to see what players are released from NFL teams over the course of the next 24 hours.
The Bears also may be working towards trading a player off their current roster. That player may be wide receiver Earl Bennett. Bennett has not been seen on the football field since suffering a concussion in early August. That was Bennett’s third concussion of his career.
There has been speculation that the Bears are shopping Bennett, though, there has also been speculation that Bennett will not play this season for the Bears.
The Bears roster needs to be at 53 by 5 p.m. on Saturday.
