The Bears may have made their most notable cut on Friday.
Offensive lineman J’Marcus Webb announced on twitter that his time with the Bears is over.
Good bye, Chicago! I gave you 3 years of me.

After being demoted to the second-team after the first game of the pre-season, Webb was facing an uphill battle to make the Chicago Bears 53-man roster.
Webb was replaced by Jordan Mills on the offensive line, and the former Bears’ seventh round draft pick showed no signs of being a capable backup for the Bears.
Credit Bears head coach Marc Trestman for realizing that Webb had no business being on the Bears’ roster, and general manager Phil Emery for concurring with his head coach.
