The timing is perfect to introduce Da Windy City’s version of Twitter Tuesday. Today is two days after twitter exploded on Sunday in horror of the performance Miley Cyrus gave during the MTV Video Music Awards.
Some people view Twitter as a place where people “talk about shit that no one cares about.”
Cyrus certainly lived up to that definition on Sunday.
But when used effectively, Twitter can provide a plethora of benefits to sports fans.
That is why on every Tuesday, Da Windy City will feature notable tweets from Chicago athletes and reporters over the course of the past week.
With that said, lets dive in.
Matt Clapp of the Da Bear Necessities tweets about where the Chicago Bears stand in comparison to the Green Bay Packers.
But I also think this Bears team, compared to recent years, is best *built* to beat the Packers.

Is the Chicago Cubs’ streak of avoiding being no-hit in jeopardy against the Los Angeles Dodgers tonight, Julie Dicaro thinks so.
I fear for @CubsNoHitStreak tonight. And yet, they do have a history of looking decent against good pitchers. And terrible against bad ones

Producer Herb Lawrence on how powerful the NFL Is.
How powerful is the Shield? The NFL bullies ESPN to get out of concussion project and everybody sh*ts on ESPN. That powerful! #TeflonDon
