Meatball fans rejoice.
Entering training camp, not much was known about new Chicago Bears‘ head coach Marc Trestman.
After one week of training camp, fans are still trying to learn what type of head coach Trestman is.
One thing is clear after week 1 of Trestman, there is a noticeable difference between Trestman and Lovie Smith.
When Trestman was hired, Bears’ general manager Phil Emery described the new head coach in a way that did not appeal to meatball fans.
Though, for any fans and media that have been in attendance during the Bears’ training camp, Trestman would appeal to those fans that have the desire for their team’s head coach to be animated.
Trestman has been very animated during Bears’ practices, and is not afraid of getting in a player’s face after a mistake. Trestman does not take too fondly to pre-snap penalties on offense, and the head coach would certainly make the player that made that mistake aware of that fact.
Safe to say that Trestman will not be the motionless mute that Smith was on the sidelines on Sundays. For many Chicago Bears’ fans, that will be a welcomed a sight.
