Chicago Bulls free agent Marco Belinelli to sign with Spurs

Free agent guard Marco Belinelli agreed to a two-year deal with the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday, according to Yahoo! Sports and other media outlets.

All deals cannot be finalized until Wednesday, July 10.

Belinelli, 27, an Italian national averaged 9.6 points, two assists and 1.9 rebounds in 73 games this season for the Chicago Bulls. It was his only season for the Bulls and he added an average 11.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists in postseason action.

Belinelli began his time in the NBA with the Golden State Warriors, making stints in Toronto and New Orleans before joining the Bulls.
