Wednesday evening the Chicago White Sox hosted a special ceremony to honor the Stanley Cup champion Blackhawks, and the Cubs will repeat the favor this weekend.

Hawks alternate captain Patrick Sharp hoisted the Cup Wednesday evening before a White Sox-Orioles game at U.S. Cellular Field.

Friday afternoon before a 3:05 game against the Pittsburgh Pirates, Sharp will be joined by Bryan Bickell and Brandon Bollig. On Saturday, Hawks coach Joel Quenneville will join in on the festivities bringing with him Lord Stanley’s Cup and will conduct the seventh-inning stretch.

The Hawks celebration at the ballparks this year is starkly different than in 2010, they brought the Cup to Wrigley Field during the Crosstown Classic. This feat could have been repeated on Monday at U.S. Cellular when the Cubs and White Sox will play a makeup game from a rained out May 28 game.
