Cloudy Forecast For Chicago Sports

Chicago Sports Fans woke up to a grim reality on Saturday morning.

That reality is that the hangover from the Blackhawks winning the Stanley Cup playoffs will not last long enough to make up for the less than stellar baseball teams that are playing on both sides of town.

The Cubs and White Sox teams that Chicago fans see now will likely not be the same two teams come August 1. In fact, neither team may have same the manager upon the conclusion of the season.

The return of Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls will not occur until October, and football season is still another month away.

Baseball purists will say that now is the time for the Cubs and White Sox to take center stage on the Chicago sports scene.

But the fact of the matter is that there is little interest in either team.

The Blackhawks were that nice dream for Chicago fans. That dream where the dreamer doesn’t want to wake up and face reality.

But reality is here for the Chicago fans. But there is no need to worry.

There is a storm coming. That storm is the NFL season. And the only town that people reside with is Bears’ town.
