Crosstown Classic makeup set for July 8


The rained out May 28 game between the Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox will be played on July 8 at 7:10 p.m. CT at U.S. Cellular Field.

The May 28 game was slated to be the second game in the Crosstown Classic following a 7-0 Cubs victory at U.S. Cellular Field. The Cubs won the next two games in the series at Wrigely Field 9-3 and 8-3.

The Cubs will enter the July 8 makeup date coming off a three game home series against NL Central Division rival Pittsburgh while the White Sox will be coming back from a three game series in Tampa Bay.

All game tickets and parking coupons from the May 28 game will be honored by the White Sox organization. Tickets are still available for purchase.
