The NBA Draft Lottery is today. The NBA Draft Lottery is the day in which the foundation is laid for franchise-altering decisions to be made later in the off-season. The Chicago Bulls are no stranger to those decisions.

Derrick Rose was the subject of many media attention this past season for the Bulls. The attention Rose was getting was for his lack of being on the court for the Bulls while returning from ACL surgery he had in May of 2012. The reason fans and media types were clamoring for Rose to return is because of the MVP-type player he proved to be in his first four seasons with the Bulls.

Though, none of that would have come to fruition if wasn’t for the NBA Draft Lottery. In 2008, the entire direction of the Bulls’ organization was altered with one bounce.
